Doggywood

Is your floof fluffed? Can your pooch pout? Show us your doggy's style at the campest dog pageant of the year! Doggywood returns in 2025 and is bound to be the best way to start your Fair Day.

Trans Camp

Welcome to the stage, Trans Camp! Making it's Fair Day debut in 2025, gather 'round the campfire and meet transgender and gender diverse community groups, health services, businesses and creatives.

Karaoke Cave

Turn up the party with Karaoke Cave, a Fair Day-first for 2025 making it's grand debut as the sun sets on Victoria Park!

Drag King Game

From weight lifting to bingo calls, the prestigious

Drag King Games return to the American Express Main Stage in 2025. Think you have what it takes to end the reign of Sho Mawood?

A little bit about volunteering:

As a volunteer, you are an important member of our team and the face of Mardi Gras to the community at large as everyone arrives and during the event. By becoming a volunteer, you will be enriched in our wonderful community and meet all kinds of people who may become some of your best friends for life! You will be connecting with your community and without a doubt, have a fabulous time. You will be required to attend a briefing session prior to the event so we can run you through all the by Work Health & Safety policies and practices and let you know what you will be doing on the day, I know, very fun but we really want to make sure you are all safe and ready for your shift!

Mardi Gras relies on you to show up to your shift, if you cannot make it please let us know. Stuff can happen, we understand but we most likely will need to replace your shift as every job counts.

Please always conduct yourself in an appropriate and ethical manner, in accordance with the Mardi Gras ICARE Policy and Code of Conduct. Think about how you would like to be treated, we are all family!
