Mardi Gras Medical 2025
A little bit about Medical Team:
Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival have many events that are supported by our volunteer medical teams. This generous, skilled, and knowledgeable team are at every event, on-call and visible to make sure we are all safe, being part of this team are truly rewarding. You will be volunteering with some of the best nurses, doctors, paramedics and the like and be the party of a fun, respected team that our community depends on to keep everyone safe whilst still having fun!
To be a part of the Mardi Gras Medical Team you must have a minimum medical qualification of a First Aid Certificate.
This is only an application to volunteer on the medical team as your qualifications will need to be confirmed before you can apply for shifts.
Once you have applied via this application and if you are successful, you will be contacted in due course by a medical team member to allocate your shift time. We allocate medical volunteers to different shifts based on skills and qualifications.
You must be over 18yrs to volunteer on the Medical Team.
A little bit about volunteering:
As a volunteer, you are an important member of our team and the face of Mardi Gras to the community at large as everyone arrives and during the event. Becoming a volunteer, you will be enriched in our wonderful community, and you will meet all kinds of people that may become some of your best friends for life! You will be connecting with your community and without a doubt, have a fabulous time!
Mardi Gras relies on you to show up to your shift, if you cannot make it, please let us know. Stuff can happen, we understand but we most likely will need to replace your shift as every job counts.
Please always conduct yourself in an appropriate and ethical manner, in accordance with the Mardi Gras ICARE Code of Conduct. Think about how you would like to be treated, we are all family!
